The pair that matters for most people
Ray-Ban Meta Audio is the new one to know. No camera. Audio and AI only.
Meta says they weigh 43 grams. You can listen to music or podcasts, take calls, and talk to the AI hands-free. Battery claim:up to 12 hours on a charge, plus more from the case.
Pre-orders start at $349. They ship October 13. Two styles (Clubmaster and Burbank), lots of color and lens options, and they work with prescriptions.
If you liked the idea of smart glasses but hated the idea of a camera pointing at everyone around you, this is the first Meta pair built for that preference.
What Muse can shop for you now
Muse is Meta's personal AI agent app. At Connect, Meta said it is adding store connectors so Muse can help you browse and buy at places like Walmart, Best Buy, Gap, Sephora, Ulta, Wayfair, and more. Shop Pay and PayPal are in for payments. Instacart and Expedia are on the way.
You do not need new glasses for that part. If Muse is on your phone, the shopping helpers are the useful update.
Meta also said Muse is coming to its AI glasses in the coming months, so you can talk to it by name without pulling out a phone.
Other options if you want a camera or a cheaper frame
Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 is available now starting at $449. Slimmer design, longer battery, camera included if you want photos and video.
Meta also has a Meta Adventurer pair starting at $249 for pre-order, with sales starting October 23. That is their lowest Meta Glasses price so far.
There is a tiny Muse Charm device coming later this year for talking to Muse from a pocket clip. Meta did not share a price yet, so treat that as a watch list, not a buy today.
How to try this without overspending
Start with the free Muse app if you have not. Connect one store you already use and ask it to find a real item on your list. Check the cart yourself before anything charges.
If you want glasses, pre-order Ray-Ban Meta Audio only if the no-camera, all-day audio pitch matches how you live. Otherwise wait for a friend to try a pair, or wait on Charm pricing.
AI on your face only helps if it saves steps. Ask one question before you buy:what do I do every day that would be easier with my hands free?
